Q

Will the seminar be filmed?

A

NO! The TV version, while real, is far more dramatized for the sake of TV than what you will experience in person. Our standard boot camps are not filmed or recorded in any way.

Q

What do I wear to the Boot Camp?

A

Wear something comfortable. There is nobody to impress at the Marriage Boot Camp. Come casual. If you are cold natured, then bring a light sweater or coat. The room tends to be cool.

Q

Is this a Christian Seminar or Religious Retreat?

A

The Boot Camp does not push, cram, preach or manipulate their religious beliefs on others. We allow individuals to freely express how God relates to the games or drills, but we do not allow anyone to preach at others. We ask that everyone be respectful of the different belief systems of other people.

Many people come into the Marriage Seminar wanting to have a better relationship with God. We have designed the games to help everyone find what they desire. We spend about an hour and a half dealing with spiritual damage caused by others. Read more here.

Q

Does the Marriage Boot Camp provide meals?

A

The Boot Camp does not provide meals. Participants should eat prior to attending the weeknight events. During the Marriage Boot Camp we do break for lunch and dinner.

Q

How often do we have breaks?

A

Generally we break every two hours for 10 minute breaks.

Q

May I come without my spouse?

A

Yes and No. The Life Enrichment Boot Camp (evenings and one day) is designed to enhance personal and relationship growth. You’re spouse does not have to attend. The Marriage Boot Camp (day program) does require your spouse to attend.

Q

I’m single, divorced or considering marriage. Will the Boot Camp work for me?

A

Absolutely. The Life Enrichment Boot Camp is designed to enhance personal growth. Personal growth then enhances marriages and relationships. The Boot Camp is the best thing you can do for yourself before going forward in a relationship. Marriage Boot Camp is also great for couples that are engaged or considering marriage as a form of premarital counseling.

Q

What is the age limit?

A

All participants must be at least 18 years. We do recommend affliate programs that provide simular programs for teens.

Q

What makes your program different from counseling?

A

We don’t give you any advice. You’ll find your own answers as you play the interactive games and drills. Unlike counseling, we have 40 hours over four short days to work with you. The program is intense enough to keep you in the moment so that you are ready and willing to address the issues as they come up. Most counselors that have attended the Boot Camp say that our four day program is equivalent to a minimum of two years worth of therapy.

Q

I don’t like who I have become. Can the Boot Camp help me find myself again?

A

This is what the Boot Camp does best. Our games and drills are designed to help you identify areas in your life that need to be addressed or fine tuned. No matter how high or low you rate your life, the Boot Camp will help you grow several levels. Participants will be able to release past hurts and damage that have been holding them back in life and in their relationships. The Boot Camp helps participants increase their self-esteem, confidence, value and worth. Participants will experience love, joy, peace and happiness in a whole new way. The Boot Camp is truly a life changing event. It’s one of those very rare, “it’s too good to be true” phenomenon’s.

Q

I’m desperate, my spouse just filed for divorce, can the Marriage Boot Camp help us?

A

We get frantic people calling all the time asking us to save their marriages. The Marriage Boot Camp has a phenomenal success rate when it comes to helping couples that have already filed for divorce. We can’t help save all marriages, no program can. However, we can help the majority of couples that are not afraid of investing hard work into their relationships.

Q

We don’t or can’t communicate with each other, can the Boot Camp teach us how?

A

Communication or the lack of is a major issue in many marriages. Many couples have poor communications because they stop communicating their thoughts and feelings with each other. They stop because they are tired of repeating themselves or because they are tired of being hurt by their spouses. The Boot Camp helps couples start opening new lines of communication. You and your spouse will start expressing your feelings and concerns with each other in a healthy positive manor.

Q

Does the Marriage Retreat provide child care?

A

The Boot Camp does not provide child care. Please make arrangements prior to attending.

Q

Can I miss a day of the Marriage Seminar?

A

The Boot Camp is an intense program that is designed to accelerate growth through a series of games. Each day is more advanced and builds upon the games and drills of the previous day. If you cannot attend an entire Boot Camp, then please wait to attend until you can.

Q

What’s the catch?

A

There is no catch. The Marriage Boot Camp prices are intentionally low. We want everyone to be able to attend regardless of income. Each group helps offset the cost of the next group by donating. It is completely voluntary.

Q

Am I required to stay at the hotel?

A

We prefer that couples from out of town stay at the listed hotel, but it is completely optional.

Q

Do I have to be on TV?

A

No. The Boot Camp is in a private and confidential setting. If we conduct seminars in the future that are going to be filmed, we will designate those seminars as TV special events.

Q

My spouse and I are separated, we are not sure what we want or need to do about our relationship. Can the Marriage Boot Camp help us figure out what’s best for us?

A

By the end of the Boot Camp, couples will know without a doubt if they want to continue investing their time and efforts into saving their marriages or if they are better off going their separate ways. The majority of couples that stay together seem to be able build a healthy relationship and find the love that was lost. Those that end up divorcing tell us that they are able to leave as friends without the anger and bitterness towards each other. Which in turn makes the divorce more civil. More importantly they say that it helps them build a healthy relationship for their children’s sake.

Q

My spouse has been unfaithful, I can not trust them anymore. I still love them, can the Marriage Boot Camp help us?

A

We work with many couples that have infidelity and trust issues within the marriage. Many times one or both spouses are still in a third party relationship when they attend the Marriage Boot Camp. We have found that couples willing to put an immediate stop to their outside relationship have a real chance to rescue their marriage. Couples are able to work through the trust issue in time by using the tools learned in the Boot Camp.

Q

Our children are gone, we’ve grown apart we have nothing in common anymore, can the Marriage Boot Camp help us?

A

So many couples invest so much time into their children’s lives that they forget to invest time in themselves or their spouse, much less their relationships. Once the children are gone they are finding that they have no common ground anymore. The Boot Camp helps couples to be able to reconnect and to find that “loving feeling” again. Most couples say they feel closer or find a deeper new love for their spouse during the Marriage Boot Camp.

Q

My spouse is verbally and sometimes physically abusive, my spouse if full of anger, can the Marriage Boot Camp help us?

A

The Marriage Boot Camp helps people address and deal with anger on a regular basis. Anger tends to be a major issue in many marriages. During the Boot Camp participants will identify where their anger comes from and they will be able to address the issues that cause the anger. Forgiveness is a major component when dealing with anger issues.

Q

We have a healthy or an average marriage, is the Marriage Boot Camp good for us or is it just for troubled relationships?

A

Absolutely, the Marriage Boot Camp consists of couples with all types of relationships. The Marriage Boot Camp is for individuals and couples wanting to make positive changes in their lives. It’s for people wanting to grow, mature and for those wanting to fine tune themselves. Everyone can gain something from the Boot Camp no matter what level they feel they are at. The Boot Camp is NOT for people in denial.

Q

How does it work?

A

We use 120+ interactive games and drills designed to help participants address and deal with their baggage, damage and issues.
